Nah, its been gone a long time. It was at the end of the dual course. That idiot in the orange land rover thought it would be fun to drive over.

Fox doesn't make a shock with a 3.5 inch stroke. But yes, a high quality damping system is needed to run the recommended 40% sag and obtain effective results. Thats the basics of what I understand from talking to Patrick Morewood.

I've got a few but most of them are out of date, the course has been changed drastically in the last 2 months with the addition of new obstacles and such. As soon as the rain stops I'll take a xc ride up and snap some pics.

From the pietermatirzburg world cup website
"The official national and African host broadcaster for the event is MNET SuperSport. There will be a daily highlights package of each day’s races broadcast on the day following the event. There will also be inserts in the Blitz Bulletin and there will be a 52 minute highlights package on the week of activities broadcast a week after the event draws to a close.

This is over and above the guaranteed television coverage generated through the UCI arrangements.

Flighting times and channels will be published closer to the time."

except its notWink it uses a different linkage system, very slightly different, but still different. While the Commencal uses a thrust link design, just like the Rocky Mountain RM9, Turner DHR and others, the Morewood uses a pull link, the reasoning is that its stiffer and stronger because aluminium is stronger under tension than it is under compression.

Its pretty dam fine, I prefer it to the ecd but I haven't had much chance to ride it on any technical stuff. Its pretty snappy and flickable, really nice.

Some say he has two belly buttons, others say his sweat is actually bottled and sold as Red Bull. All we know is, he's called the stig.

Which would also include my 1999 Kona Stab Dee-Lux, my 2001 Kona Stab Primo and my brothers 2001 Stab Primo?? Of the four 1999 Kona stab dee-lux's that Greg Minnaar Racing(our local lbs) sold in 1999, I know that 3 are still running, im not sure about the forth though but it may very easily still be going. So much of all of them snapping ey, go find another bike company that can say that 3 out of a random four bikes are still going 10 years later and then come argue your point.

exactly Eric, POD isnt a picture of the biggest gap or most crazy trick. POD is supposed to be a picture that captures the essence of mountain biking or bmxing or what ever. It must make you say: "wow, i wanna go ride now" not "O my f@*kin holy hell that guy is crazy". Before theres been PODs of guys on xc bikes riding alot a hill, everyone can do it but because of the scenery and the mood that the picture evokes in each individual is the reason its POD. I only do xc for fitness for dh and dont ride bmx at all but alot of the xc and bmx pods get me in the mood to ride.

when was this photo taken? if it was in 2007 then i'd say thats Travis Browning on his 07 morewood team ride. The bike looks about right and the OGK helmet was given to Travis Browning by Greg Minnaar

agreed, i had a 1999 stab delux and i flat landed from 2+ meter up so many time i lost count and generally hacked like a red headed step child over my 1st year riding(last year) and it never coughed even once, 2 dents in the frame and 8 years of constant racing all the way from world cup races then winning national and provincial championships before its rider was killed in a car crash and i bought the bike..
